Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
1. Service description
Memly provides an AI context injection proxy that adds persistent memory to LLM coding assistants. The service is available as a cloud platform and as a self-hosted deployment under BSL license.
2. License
Memly is licensed under the Business Source License (BSL). Self-hosted personal instances are free. Team and commercial use requires a paid license. You may not offer Memly as a competing commercial service.
3. Usage limits
Each tier has defined request and token limits. When limits are reached, the service gracefully degrades to passthrough mode — your LLM calls continue working without context injection. No hard stops.
4. Upstream API keys
You provide your own LLM provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). Memly encrypts and stores them solely to forward your requests. You are responsible for usage charges from your upstream providers.
5. Limitation of liability
Memly is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for issues arising from LLM responses, upstream provider outages, or data loss in self-hosted deployments.
