1. What we collect
Memly processes code snippets and conversation fragments to build your memory layer. In cloud mode, these are stored encrypted in our Supabase database with Row Level Security (RLS). For self-hosted instances, your data never leaves your infrastructure.
2. How we use your data
Your code and conversations are used exclusively to provide context injection. We do not train AI models on your data. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties.
3. Telemetry
Anonymous, optional telemetry includes: request count, active projects, version, and license type. No message content or PII is collected. Opt out with TELEMETRY_ENABLED=false.
4. Data sovereignty
Self-hosted deployments give you full control. Your data stays on your servers. Cloud users can export or delete their data at any time by contacting support.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies — no tracking, no advertising, no third-party analytics.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-* | Supabase | Authentication session | Session / 1 week |
| __stripe_* | Stripe | Payment processing & fraud prevention | Session / 1 year |
| memly_cookie_consent | Memly | Stores your cookie consent preference (localStorage) | Persistent |
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent authentication from working. The consent preference is stored in localStorage, not a cookie.
